Hiya all, got back in one piece and had a good day, I really Really like my new lens (100-400L is) Just thought I would post a quick pic of James Toseland on his superpole lap. Back to Donnington tomorrow for more pics and then next week I will post some of the better ones. This is the 1st real outing for the lens and having it attached to the 1 d mk2 all day around my neck I have to admit my back is killing me.

Cracking shot, Gary. Do you use a monopod? I've had an hour and a half this afternoon with my 100-400 shooting soccer and my arm is killing me.

Nah there for girls

but I must admit after lugging the body and lens and spare body around all day panning at 400mm mostly my back does hurt a little.

Great shot Gary! It's sharp as. Bet you're pleased with the new lens. I'd invest in a monopod if I were you, you know...at you're age you never know with backs... <ggggg>

Careful Jack, careful ... monopods are also quite useful to fend off teenage rock stars
