on yer bike
In a lovely wee glen near Herriot. The road here goes uphill for almost 2 miles to a 1400ft highpoint.A real workout for me as this run is a 48 mile round trip passing Crighton [hi fionaB
] and Borthwick castles and some nice scenery.Taken on Fuji Sensia100 using my wee charity shop Olympus XA3 camera, scanned and converted to mono. It's a lot smoother as the full 20Mb file![]() Here is the original colour version ![]() Last edited by water : 06-02-2007 at 20:45. Reason: more info |

Re: on yer bike
Very nice images but for me the mono has more punch to it.

Re: on yer bike
I much prefer the mono too, it really has impact.

Re: on yer bike
What has caused that strong vignette at the bottom, looks like a lens hood has been misplaced or something. I find it very distracting I must admit.
I am certainly with the others on which works best, the mono has greater strength and character than the colour version, partly because it is rather flat (despite the hills! )Cheers, Rob |

Re: on yer bike
the 'shadow' must be either fogging when I swapped the film from my SLR into the compact,or deterioration through the film being a few years old and stored in a too warm place!!!.quite a number of frames were like this or totally fogged
