I'll just second Rob here,Ray.Is this the 17-40L or did you get ultra wide Sigma lens?.Don't know what editing programme you have Ray but on CS2 there is a lens correction filter that is really helpful for sorting out,to some extent,the distortions of wide angle lenses.I find it invaluable as my one and only lens [Sigma 18-125mm] can produce some pretty dramatic and unwanted effects!!.There may be small,stand alone programmes also and I would invest in one as you will,sooner or later,have some leaning verticals etc on the frame edges that you may wish to correct

Thanks water the lens used was the 17-40, i have ptlens a photoshop plug in ive had to use it once

You lucky thing!.I will admit to having to use it a 'wee' bit more often than that!!.One of these days I hope to treat myself to that 17-40L lens.I had a play with one in J**sops and was impressed by the whole feel of the thing.
Can I ask if you are using it with or without a Polariser attached on these recent shots?.My guess is you are but........,
