Depends on which defined homonym you mean by 'Smart' Fiona. Given that I am wearing the shirt of my beloved Liverpool and given that (at the time of that photo) Liverpool were the Champions of Europe, you could argue the me in the footie shirt is the smart one.

But then you could argue that there is no such thing and that 'Smart Rob' is an oxymoron..... but that would mean I'd have to come over and give you a slow lingering and painful death.

And before anyone else chirps up, I said 'oxymoron' not 'moron'!!!

Ok Fiona, the gloves are off.... (or on in Sonsey's case!)....

Let's look at the evidence:
Liverpool have won the European Cup more times than any other British team... 5 times.
Liverpool have won the top league title in England 18 times.... more than any other team.
Liverpool are the most recent British side to win a European football trophy of any kind.
Liverpool won the European Cup an incredible 4 times in just 7 years. A feat never achieved by any other team anywhere.
We have also won the FA Cup 7 times, the League Cup 7 times, the European Super Cup.... the list goes on and on.

In short, Liverpool have the greatest history of winning trophies of any team in Britain.

To cap it all, we even sing the song voted 'Most memorable footballing anthem' of any club anywhere: 'You'll Never Walk Alone.' So passionate is this song and what it means to Liverpool supporters that even Ray singing it on the X Factor was moved to tears!

Now admittedly, if Fiona sang it EVERYONE would be in tears but that's a different story

ahhh but who was the FIRST British team to win the european cup................ after all Liverpool is only following in other greater teams footsteps........

oh and i have heard better renditions of that song in the local pub, the only reason he got thru cos he cried like a ickle babby boy and folks felt sorry for him.

LOL, of course I did. After all, their fans even stole our song! Admittedly we took the song from the wonderful 'Carousel' but at least we do it justice <g>

Anyway, has ANYONE got anything to say about the picture? <g> And before anyone points it out, yes I KNOW I missed a bit when putting them together. The beading around the cushion doesn't join up. I'm only human :o)
