POTW by monkeydave - 2nd September 2007
This week's Pixalo Crew's Photograph of the Week from monkeydave! Congratulations to monkeydave for getting this shot of a heron - great timing! Once again there were some good contenders for POTW, making the choice difficult, but this stood out. It works so well on a number of levels - as well as the 'straight' heron image there's the almost statue-like quality with the dark background. That's a tremendous shot monkeydave.
Not just the pose but also the lighting which makes the heron stand out from the background. Well done that man!
