Sigma 18-200 f3.5-6.3 DC Nikon fit

On the 8th July I posted a review of this lens.

In it, I said:

Quote:
I would recommend this lens for those with realistic expectations of what it is capable of.

If a Nikkor 18-200 VR came along at the right price, I'd consider it as it is a little faster and has better image quality, but I will not be actively looking for one.
Well, the unexpected has happened, and I now have a Nikkor 18-200vr so my Sigma is for sale. I bought it in the UK in June and it has had little use as I bought it to use with my spare D70s body as a lightweight/travel kit, and it has probably done no more than a couple of hundred shots.

It comes with front and rear caps, the lens hood, warranty documents, instruction sheet and original receipt. It is also boxed in the original packaging and I'm throwing in a Kood skylight filter, a Hoya UV filter, a Hoya poloriser (not sure if it is a circular poloriser or not but in the worst case you might have to focus manually). Also a Kood square filter holder with a Cokin star 8, a Cokin white spot A 061, a Cokin grey spot A062 and a Cokin ND grad G2 A161.

Price 150 inc P&P. I'll say UK only as I'm not prepared to pay postage outside of the UK.

Some example shots here and here.

Had the Nikkor not come along I would have been very happy to have continued using this lens. I've been very happy with it and the results I've been getting with it.

I did - for some reason the last bit of my post has not uploaded. I think my laptop threw a wobbly when I submitted the post!

I'll have to edit it. hope I can remember the details of the extras I'm including as I'm at work now and have not got the stuff in front of me.
