me, i'm on a mac and since i work at a place that sells macs, i kinda have to drink the Aperture kool-aid. BUT i have many pro photo customers that use aperture, and some that use lightroom. for the mac people, i think it has to do with how old their computer is! aperture needs pretty new hardware, and some of the pro photo guys are still using 7 year old hardware!
