I've been looking at this very same kit (or rather, hopefully Santa will have been looking at this). Gets excellent reviews at various places.

Oooo OOoo Look Buy Lighting Elinchrom Lighting at StudioKitDirect. UK Professional Photography Supplies from Studio Kit Direct
Nice man on the phone emailed me after I placed the order to say they are in the post ! Now? How do I trigger them with a 400D? I have yet to find the a little hole to plug the little cable into. Assuming it comes with a little cable. Perhaps I have not thought this through? |

Re: D-Lite 2 Reviews. D-Lite 2 Twin Head Kit Price £350
I don't think the 400D has a sync cable socket. You will either need a hot shoe adaptor Cheapest at well under £10 or a wireless solution. Pocket wizard is the best known but is not cheap. A lot of people who know about these things swear by budget versions from E-bay this is a lot easier as it reduces all the cables running around. For a basic version it's around £25 delivered. If you use slaves for the other heads then that's all you need.

Re: D-Lite 2 Reviews. D-Lite 2 Twin Head Kit Price £350
D-Lite 2 twin head.
What would happen if we all got together with our lighting kits. I'm sure there must be some mad project we can do where they all fire at once illumination something big? (or something small very very brightly.) It would be nice to do some mad landscape but we would need lots of extention leads. Say a night seane at westonbert. I often wondered about everyone turning up with the same model of camera and using a single remote control to trigger all at once. We could do some cool matrix like freeze frame hi def spiny thing. |
