3 Dorset panoramics
1
http://www.pbase.com/m1ke_a/image/99690779/original.jpg Lulworth Cove morning Five vertical shot multi exposure panoramic fusion blended in PTGui. Each individual shot was 1/250th - 1/60th - 1/15th @ f/8. iso100. There's a bit of a funny caste to the colours above the village and I'm not sure if it was a function of the field of view, or the processing? ![]() 2 http://www.pbase.com/m1ke_a/image/99589261/original.jpg Durdle Door at the end of the day. Four vertical shots again stitched in PTGui. 3 http://www.pbase.com/m1ke_a/image/99589269/original.jpg Tried something a bit more moody but not sure if this has worked? ![]() C&C welcome

Re: 3 Dorset panoramics
M1ke - I've moved this post here as we only allow one picture at a time in the Critique Forum.
I've also broken the links as all of these images exceed the Pixalo size limit. |

Sorry ![]() Unwrapping a cylindrical projection does distort the field of view quite a bit but you can usually hide this on landscapes....... ![]() Do folk not think the mono is too dark?

Re: 3 Dorset panoramics
I don't think the mono is too dark but I would have liked to see all of the edge of the sea in the shot. As it is now it breaks up the flow through the foreground and reduces the image's overall impact.
I personally like the first shot the best, it very impressive. You have done well on all three though, especially with the tricky light conditions |
