I am going to be a big disagreer and devils advocate here, Gary
If you didn't indicate that the shot was taken in the same area, I wouldn't have known, and these two images wouldn't have connected for me. So, I think it would have been much stronger if you would have taken the exact same image at the exact same place at the different times. Of course, that would have made it a bit journalistic, but then it would have told a story. Both images are good in themselves, but the just don't hang together to tell a story about the incredible changes in our weather. skip |

Hi Skip, I do agree with you whole heartedly and my only defense would be that even in waders there is no way to get to the exact same spot which is a shame, I didn't really intend on doing the shot again from the same place but thought it would make for an interesting talking point to take the shot and compare them.
