Aberlady Nature Reserve
Actually a pathway leading through it, The trees/bushes are cut by volunteers to keep the pathway clear and they throw the cuttings back over the fence and leave the cuttings to rot. his as you can imagine over the years makes a very tangled mess of broken branches etc. The day walked through was windy and the whole place creaks and moves about as if the place is alive and unnatural and sounds scary. As I turned round the corner at the end of the pathway I met 2 guys with axes & saws trimming the branches...Like something out of a movie
I lived to tell the tale Anyway the original photo was pretty poor in colour so I thought I'd try and make it creepy looking...does it work ?

Re: Aberlady Nature Reserve
Has a certain feel about it, tho' the fence posts don't look quite vertical enough and you might want to think about burning back some areas to increase that feeling
