Aqualegia
kind of acquired this from the neighbours garden ( only weeds in mine ! ) still not had the chance to get out further than that with the camera!

Well what I said was, really shows the possibilities with your new camera, lovely saturated colours, and I like the orton style one too! [edit: oh and nice sharpness!] |

I think the first one is a cracker. It really doesn't need the fancy stuff, it works beautifully on its own and the composition is perfect. Superb stuff. I can't say I go a whole bundle on the second, it's ok but I feel it is trying to improve on something that is intrinsically beautiful so doesn't need the arty stuff. I don't go much on the blurry thing, makes my eyes go squiffy LOL.
If you can take shots like that first one, you don't need to spend hours playing around in photoshop :o) Cheers, Rob

I like the first one. the foregrounds good, lovely flower not familiar with it , but I also spent some time studying the other flowers/buds behind it
