Re: B&W Vulcan as sugested

My favourite military plane in the whole world! This looks good though doesn't really show this stunning bird off for what she is as we can't see anything of the huge expanse of wing that forms 90% of this plane. This is one of those planes you hear long before you see.... and when you see it you get deafened if it goes overhead.... truly spectacular! I have a soft spot for it as I was in the RAF and we had the Vulcan as our fly past plane at my passing out parade!

I like the treatment you've given it but I would like the BG to be a lot more blurred so that all the attention is where it should be, on the plane itself. Good work though so well done

Cheers,
Rob

Re: B&W Vulcan as sugested

Thanks Steve, I spent two frustrating days waiting for the same damned fly past ... which never happened! We had a superb Air Festival here in Bournemouth from 28th to 31st August and the highlight was seeing the Vulcan Bomber and the RAs. I got hundreds of shots of the RAs (to go with the thousands I already have!) but the Vulcan was unable to fly for some reason. No go on Thursday or Friday and again on Saturday when I was flying out of Bournemouth Airport.

Oh well, they are planning to make this Air Festival an annual event and I have to say it really was a terrific success (apart from the Sunday when the weather was appalling apparently). Maybe I'll get the Vulcan next year.

I am delighted that I did manage to get some fairly close shots of the RAs taking off while I was waiting for my flight at Bournemouth airport. I also got the Euro-fighter.... which is just amazing to watch. That thing does stuff in the air which defies the laws of physics, aerodynamics, thermodynamics and probably a few other 'amics' to go with them! It is flown by computer mostly but it is a heck of a site to watch.

I'll get some up when i get chance.

Cheers,
Rob
