I don't know what it is Les...but there is something about this model's face that just doesn't sit quite right and makes the shot look unnatural....I just can't quite work out what it is.

I think it's because she's drawn the lipliner further out than her top and bottom lips (making the bottom lip quite square) and filled in with a lighter colour. Don't think it's anything to do with the photography, just the make up. I've never liked the dark liner and pale lipstick effect, she'd look much nicer with a single colour within the lip line. It's also matte, which again gives a unatural effect,. but something I've noticed quite alot of models doing.

Makeup goes thru fads as does clothing. There was a time when the lips 'had' to have gloss, then matt then gloss then...
I kinda agree about the lip liner, especially since this model has 'Angelina Jolie' kinda lips (which I personally can't stand, at least this girls aren't full of ugly ridges) which are rather prominent. Mind you, one of the things professional models need is an unusual look to stand out and this feature sure makes her distinctive. What about my handy work on the colour tho? |

 How did you do that then ? I assume it's more complex than just overlaying colours??

I read this from the back forward, it sounds like you scanned it? Angela is right though about something not right, I think it is the color of her lips and the matching background. No matter how you came up with the colors, I think the color of the sweater is wrong, maybe more towards giving some pop to her eye color? nice work though as always you seem to go 110%.
