ok never done this type of photography before so im aware some of these are just your run of the mill "mediocre snaps", but thought i would share them with you anyway as i had such a good time taking them!

Nice set

#1, especially #2 - my type of shot with that movement and the smiles despite what looks like a downpour! Also the last one - made by that space around them

Lovely colours in the first two, Fiona

#1 Would've preferred to see less at the top + more at the bottom, in particular what is that loop around his wrist for Pity you just nipped his fingers off. Maybe a shorter DoF to blur the BG curtain + equipment a bit. Also crop close to elbow + drum on RHS to crop out the distracting logo.

#2 Looked like dancing in the rain, 'til you said it's not rain. Good use of timing to freeze their faces but show movement in their feet, well done. Clone out the stray arm at top LH corner?

#3 + #4 don't really do much for me.

#5 Would've been improved with a shorter DoF I think, as I find the curtain + BG clutter distracting.

#2 Is the best, by far IMO. I think you did really well for a first attempt, and the main thing is you had fun doing it
