Re: first from the 10-22mm

I was wondering how your new lens was treating you.

I love nr 2 and nr 5. Wow, it looks really fab.
Nr 1 The lucky bugger I suppose it's in the family.

Nice set Fi

Are you pleased with the lens, and how are you finding being able to take shots when less than a metre from your subject?

Re: first from the 10-22mm

its very strange.............we did a little comparison today, Murray had the 28-80 on the 400 and i had the 10-22 on the 30..... he had to walk about 500 metres further back than I had to, to get the entire frontage of the house in the frame, thats gonna take a bit of getting used to! lol but i do like it!

Don't forget that if you are are intending to correct verticals - leave LOTS of room around your subject - especially at the top.

It took me a lot of time & shots to get used to mine, felt very strange on how close you could go, nice set of shots.

Re: first from the 10-22mm

Hate to say 'I told yer so' Fi.... but then again, no I don't so...

'I told yer so!'

Great signs of what is to come here, you're gonna be producing lots of churches, graveyards and old buildings aren't you?.... Hmmmm, that'll be new <g>

Have fun with the new baby, it's a cracking lens and will definitely be in good hands

Cheers,
Rob

Re: first from the 10-22mm

Looking good so far Fi, although 3 doesn't work for me. Like #2, and seems as though your 400D has gone to a good home (even if it is still your home...if you see what I mean....)

I actually like number 4 (the gravestones), theres something about being so close to the ground, i'm just waiting for the zombies to appear from under the leaves.
