Thought I would shoot something different today, I went to the horse trials at Perth. It was different from the motorbikes I usually shoot but no less dangerous.

The horse got up and ran away, the rider needed medical treatment but she walked into the ambulance. She was holding her arm which I suspect may have been broken.

A good sequence of shots which shows the dangers of eventing, this is known as a rotational fall and accounts for numerous fatalities every year.

Glad to hear the rider is okay.

Oh crikey - that looks nasty. Glad they both got up and were OK, that could have been so much worse.
