OK.... It's standing on something reflective, which is probably glass from the photo frame, with the black cloth underneath and going up behind, supported by two tins. So then you open the shutter and paint the subject with light from the wind-up torch.

Well I tried it just like you said but when all finished I did not get a 1DS. Am I doing something wrong as I would really like one

What I found a bit misleading was that the paint tins + the photo frame could be substituted with other things

i used the two paint tins to lift the glass from the frame off the floor as this will help eliminate any crease's or bits that are on the floor and i found you get a better reflection this way...

i used the frame as most people have a picture frame in theer house .. all the bits and pieces were things everyone could get/ use ..

my idea was to show a nice / classsy looking photo which everyone could try without going out and spending a fourtune....



ahh well the idea was there

Very ingenious!

I was doing similar things for the Jewellery Fortnightly Assignment; got a picture off the wall to get the glass out of the frame, used a black fleece jacket, an Oxford English Dictionary, 2 torches and a bendy lamp!!

Re: the photo frame, I'd originally thought you meant one of those that can display your jpegs as a slideshow, then realised you meant what I'd call a picture frame
