Monthly Competition - A look back at the Winners of 2007
As we are still looking back over 2007, The Crew though it would be a nice idea to showcase the winners of the Monthly Competition.
The Monthly Competition aims to encourage you to push your boundaries and make you think about shooting subjects that you might not normally consider shooting and that will take you out of your comfort zone. The theme for each round is chosen in advance by the Pixalo Crew and a lot of thought is put into the choices so as to give a wide variety of "out of the ordinary" themes but which are still within the capabilities of every Pixalo member - whether enthusiastic beginner or professional. Our hope is that this competition, along with the Fortnightly Assignment, will help you to improve your photography techniques but still retain an element of fun! Season 2 of the Monthly Competition started in November but the points system is such that even if you start now, you have an equal chance of winning as someone who started in November. I was just looking at (and about to reply to - confusing myself with multiple windows open) a similar thread for the fortnightly themes!
