What an amazing place! Lines are so clean - that #4 looks almost graphic with those trees. One to definitely go on my 'To Visit' list - thanks for sharing!

Re: Mormon Temple

Actually 4 is fine, I was mainly talking about 2 and 3, and if you're not going to correct the verticals, then you need to just straighten the ground, so at least all the verticals will be converging...well....vertically!

I know these are in sharing, and you can say you just like taking photos as much as you like, and perhaps that is your goal, but if you want to become a much better photographer, it is essential to start taking notice of these things early before they become a bad habit...not trying to be mean, it's just that excuses tend to lead to either lack of improvement or regression!

Re: Mormon Temple

Heh, pleasant surprise to see this shot The Mrs and I were actually married at that building as we're both members of the church. I love the look of the Preston Temple although the grounds are nicer at the London one... Picture below

Re: Mormon Temple

Great shots. I fly past that place on the M61 regularly and have meant to have a go myself. It looks particularly good when floodlit.

Re: Mormon Temple

You could actually. It's open fairly late on some nights and in wintertime it would almost certainly get dark enough for some nice shots of it lit up. Some days it doesn't close till around 10pmish.
