Re: Old Ranch Road

That is a small town. 4 occupied houses!

Anyhow that is a great IR shot, the US wooden houses make great subjects. The superblue gives nice tones to the grass as well as the skies.

Re: Old Ranch Road

Hi Chris, Thank you on your observations, the WB in Canon professional is pretty correct and has light amounts of light green, ACR of course is warmer and looks more like summer as the canon software will look like spring. I have grown to like it that way and picked ACR here. It is a mild difference. I learned on lifepixel they have a 590nm conversion now. My Enhanced IR is 665nm, this picture here is 50% blue light and 50% near infrared. 285nm/465nm blue light and 705nm red light. WB on 720nm and above is taken at rich green grass or what makes you happy. Dropping from 720nm towards Ultraviolet that being 665nm and below are all taken at grey card sunlight reflection. I never knew Jack about my 665nm and had as much fun shooting WB rendishions as my ultraviolet which for the lenses I use up to my 665nm is a silver grey tarp in bright midday sun with a shadow folded across 1/3 of it, shoot at AWB and use to set WB on all. It really fixed my Ultraviolet and I might use it again some day I have been using an old film lense on my 830nm in low light and indoors on people and it works surprizenly very good. I won't get a 590nm unless I come across a good deal on a 20D or 30D. This picture was taken with a 20D not a 50D.
