Re: Plane

I am not seeing fringing Gary so can't really suggest anything. I guess up close there might be a touch of CA caused by the strong contrast in tone between the plane and the sky which I am assuming wasn't as dark as it looks here.

I like the image and it definitely captures thaat theme of 'Look up!' but I wonder if it has just a touch too much space around it? We want some but I think the plane is getting a little lost here so maybe a bit of a crop?

Cheers,
Rob

Re: Plane

Cheers for that Rob, and yes it does seem to be getting a little lost in there.

Allway's nice to be inspiring, thank's Gary! (sorry for the late reply, I was away for a bit)

I like the angle of the plane (flying down and away) in your version but think the sky may be a bit too dark here. If you have a lighter version then perhaps adding a vignette would isolate it nicely

Anyway, had a quick play - Cropped, slight curve adjustment, border added, run through noise filter, sharpened and resized (in that order)... I tried cropping more but it just spoiled the vapour trail, and we can't be having that now!
