Canon EF 16-35mm f2.8 MarkII - example/sample photos, images

As in the title, some sample photos from the 16-35 on a recent trip to Dubrovnik. All shots taken on a 5D, hand held, no flash and no crops.

#1 - 35mm, f11, 1/320, ISO200

#2 - 16mm, f10, 1/400, ISO200

#3 - 26mm, f13, 1/100, ISO125

#4 - 16mm, f11, 1/160, ISO100

#5 - 16mm, f11, 1/50, ISO100

My comparison between the original 16-35 and the MKII.

Resized for web only shot @ 2.8.

Thought I would mention that the filter thread on the front of the original is 77mm and the MKII 82mm.

Thanks for that, P-E. It would seem that the MK II is certainly sharper.

Certainly looks sharper on the Mk2 lens.

Great set of shots apart from the sensor dust

I wonder how much more punch number 2 would have had with a CPL filter
