Artistic Nude and Glamour Photos on Pixalo - Rules

We have been privileged to be shown some fine-art, nude and glamour shots on Pixalo. However, due to the nature of the subject, we are aware that some members might be offended. We don’t care to judge anyone on this matter, but we do feel that this area of photography is valid and should have a place on Pixalo. Since we do not want to force these images on anyone either by accident or intentionally, we have revised the rules that cover this area of photography.

Below are the rules relating to ANY Artistic Nude or Glamour shots that members may wish to exhibit here at Pixalo. The rules have been formulated to allow these photos to be shown and viewed whilst protecting any members who prefer not to see them. We try to remain a family-friendly and work-safe site, and these rules should ensure that continues.

Failure to abide by these rules will result in the photographs being removed from the site, and the Crew's decision on this is final.

* If you wish to show Artistic Nude or Glamour photographs, or any other photograph the content of which could be considered unsuitable for viewing by all members of a family, they must be uplioaded to the Artistic Nude and Glamour Gallery or a private album only. The images may also be displayed in the Artistic Nude and Glamour Forum.

*When uploading images to the Artistic Nude and Glamour gallery, you must tag the image as containing mature content by selecting "yes" in the appropriate drop down box. Please note that it is your responsibility to ensure that the images are tagged as being of mature content. Please note: Due to a glitch in our system, the mature content tag does not always work during the upload unless you only upload one image. Therefore all images uploaded to the Artistic Nude and Glamour gallery requiring this tag must be opened after uploading and in the photo options in the top RHS of the window go to edit image and check that the mature content tag is set to yes. Members who persistently breach this rule will be suspended if necessary.

* Tasteful nudes are acceptable but pornography is not. Tasteful nudes could include full frontal nudity as long as the subject is the body or form (not the genitalia) and the photographer has attempted to take the shot in an artistic way.

* On occasions it is possible the Crew might still class an image as being too risqué or deem it indecent. In these cases the Crew’s decision will be final and we will remove the picture as we see fit. The Crew will have complete discretion on what is tasteful and their decision is final.

If you are in doubt about any shot, please contact a member of the Crew prior to submitting your photograph.

These rules have been introduced to prevent offence and clarify the situation so that these valid areas of photography can be appreciated at Pixalo. We hope they are seen as reasonable and fair.
