Unknown wild plant under heavy rain

Going back home during a heavy rain/sleet fall, I took this shot because of the surprising light under such conditions ... should possibly be in "Abstract" section ?

Like the comp and rain - be nice to be rid of that offshoot to the right

Not sure that being an unknown plant qualifies it as an Abstract!

Like this one a lot. It's just so 'real',I mean go for a walk and this is what one sees.Normally folks look for that 'perfect' specimen to photograph but here, with the gorgeous colour and the bonus raindrops, this is 'real' life [if you catch my rambling drift]

Re: Unknown wild plant under heavy rain

Thanks Mark.
I did remove the unsightly twig on the right ... only to decide to keep the whole thing intact later! Good suggestion but ...
Cheers.

Water:
Thanks for the comment. Indeed, often times we try hard to make things appear differently than they really do. I am presently experimenting with "wild" stuff around the twonship. Crazy how little we "observe" what's right there to see!

Re: Unknown wild plant under heavy rain

Thank you, P-E.
I don't know if it's just me ageing but it seems that I am going to take a liking in wild plant photography. I find it totally amazing that, on any given day or at the end of a journey in the wild, when nothing seems to have happened, you encounter "simple majesty" just a few feet, even inches, from your nose!
Oh well, I suppose getting older has its advantages!
