4Gb compact flash for £29.95

In case anyone is after a good sized Compact Flash card, here is a link to buy a Dane-Elec 4GB CF card for £29.95 which is a superb price.

I bought a Dane-Elec card a couple of years ago and it is still working perfectly.

Re: 4Gb compact flash for £29.95

I'm using a 1GB Dane-Elec card at the moment and it's as reliable as a rock, I've never lost an image off it despite having dropped it more than once, plugged it into all sorts of dodgy cheap card readers, and so on.

I would say it's not a fast card though - I can only get 6 RAW shots out of my 350D before it stops due to having to write them to the card, compared to 11 on a high-speed card I borrowed - the delay after those 11 was significantly less than with the Dane-elec too. But at 30 quid for 4GB you can't complain at all, and if you're not doing burst shooting or shooting in RAW you'll never notice.

Re: 4Gb compact flash for £29.95

INCREDIBLE.....

I just got an advertising email from 7Dayshop and they are selling this same 4GB CF memory card for an unbelievable £16.99!

That is so low it is ridiculous. I don't even need one but am going to buy one anyway

Cheers,
Rob

Thanks for that I snaffled one of the 133x ones for £45 that's as fast as a Sandisk Extreme III for less than an Ultra II

Good service from Buymemory cards it arrived this morning. The card works fine but is not quite as fast as the Extreme III. But still good value.
