HAS ANYONE HAD PROBLEMS, WITH ORDERING FROM 7DAYSHOP.COM
RECENTLY?

I PLACED AN ORDER WITH THEM YESTERDAY.
ALL DAY TODAY I HAVE BEEN EXCHANGING EMAILS WITH THEM,AS THEY KEEP SAYING
MY CARD DETAILS ARE WRONG, OR MY CARD HAS BEEN DECLINED.

I HAVE SPOKEN, SEVERAL TIMES TO MY CARD SUPPLIER,THEY HAVE CONFIRMED
THERE IS NOT A PROBLEM WITH MY CARD.

THIS IS SO FRUSTRATING, AS YOU CAN NO LONGER CONTACT THEM BY PHONE.

I AM JUST SITTING HERE, WAITING FOR THEM TO REPLY TO YET ANOTHER EMAIL
I HAVE SENT THEM.

I HAVE ORDERED WITH THEM BEFORE, BUT THE WAY THIS IS GOING I THINK IT WILL
BE THE LAST TIME.

7dayshop are fine as long as there are no glitches. As you know, they are based in Guernsey and their low prices are, in part, due to the strange tax laws which allow them to supply to the UK without charging VAT if the shipment value is less than £18.

If there is nothing wrong with your card, you can't do more than you have in an attempt to sort it out. If you don't get any joy, let us know what you were trying to order and perhaps someone can suggest an alternative supplier.

sorry to hear of your problems, I have been using 7day for over a year now and never had a problem with them. I agree with Silkstone, there are a number of other companies out there and it looks {if you cannot sort out the problem} you will have to go to one of them

Thanks For Your Replies , I Canceled The Order In The End, As I Wasn't
Getting Anywhere With Them.

I Kept Sending My Details Over And Over , In Between Phone Calls To Card
Supplier, Who Kept Assuring Me There Was Nothing Wrong.

I Think I Exchanged Something In The Region Of 30 Emails To Them, Waited
Ages For Them To Reply.

This Started At 8-30 This Morning I Gave Up With Them At 5-15.

7dayshop.com No More.

Re-ordered With Another Company Without Any Problems.

I agree with the others, when the order all goes through ok, 7dayshop are fine (but I guess that's the same with any of them!). But if something is wrong they are a nightmare to deal with.

I have bought several things from them and once had a problem with a filter that they sent which was not the size I ordered (and was thus useless!) They said 'Send it back for a refund.' I said 'Sure, send me a postage paid return envelope and I'll stick it in the box.' They said 'Sorry but all returns are the responsibility of the buyer.' I argued that this should not apply in this case as it was their problem, their mistake (which they admitted) so why should I be left out of pocket.

I then got the truthful answer from the horse's mouth:

'Well sir, that's the risk you take when you are saving money!'

So their attitude is that they don't care if you are out of pocket, even for their mistakes, because you were saving money in the first place so it's your own look out! Guess who doesn't buy from them unless he is sure he is getting a major bargain these days!

Don't get me wrong, I didn't care about paying a quid to post the stupid thing back, it was entirely down to the principle of the thing.
