Cheap Supplier?

Jusy come across this website. Lots of gear all well priced. Has anybody had any dealings with them?

HK based ebayer. Beware of the import taxes & vat.

Unlike Onestop, these guys won't refund the taxes etc.

Yeah, I think I've had a coupla small things from them ... or maybe they were just in the running but I got from someone else in the end, can't remember

Anyway, I do remember that they don't have a great feedback score on ebay

There are cheaper dealers with better feedback scores. The main disadvantage of HK ebay sellers is the p&p is very high, sometimes making the item not much cheaper than buying locally, plus a long delivery time often makes the whole transaction not really worth it.

DigitalRev are renowned for their exorbitant postage charges that are shoved away at the bottom of Ebay listings. At the top the postage shows as one price but then you look at the bottom and find out that insurance is compulsory and bumps the price up to silly prices.

I nearly bought a lens from them once as it was £35 cheaper than anywhere I had found up to that point. Fortunately I noticed the p&P before I committed to buying. Postage was £25 and insurance was £35 making it £60 in total!

They are by no means the only ones to use that slightly underhand practice, lots of the HK sellers do the same. Just mentioning this one because they are the company being asked about.

The one company I would always recommend from HK is Onestop Digital. Their prices always include postage and a guarantee you will get any import duty refunded. Despite being HK based, I have always received items extremely quickly, no noticeable delay over buying from the UK, just an odd day which I happily accept.

Happy to second Rob's recommendation, I've purchased several items from them aswell and I've always found them excellent. Postage takes a little longer for me but I think part of that's due to me living in N.I.

but does anyone know if One Stop Digital will ship to an alternative address other than the card holder one?...........I have emailed them but no reply yet.

i had the same experiences with digirev, a lot of stuff in the basket untill i went to the checkout and saw the postage etc!

again, onestop-digital, great company, i didnt find the postage time too bad either!
