Having proudly decided that the 85mm and 30mm meant I could I offload my 50mm 1.4 I realised this weekend I could still use a 50mm prime (great for fast moving children with distracting backgrounds). However I was wondering do I need a 1.4 or would a 1.8 do for a lot less dosh? My mind was made up to settle for the 1.8 when I found an F801 with a standard lens for £45 ono. I thought great get the camera keep the lens and flog on the F801 . That way I could appease my guilt for selling it in the first place and not be out of pocket.

I just got back, lovely woman selling it. It's mint and the lens .. it's not a 1.8 it's another 1.4!!!! I didn't even have the front to make an offer
