I saw that in PCW today but wasn't sure about compatibility. I have a Canon cam and printer so I opted for 40 sheets of original Canon Photo Paper Plus at £9.99 on Ebay. I'll know if I've been done after a print.

regards

Let me know how it looks when you print MyPix. I have tried Kodak paper before, but not this type, and it was worse than dreadful. The paper absorbed such a lot of the ink that it held no detail at all. I would expect ultra glossy to be better though. What is the weight of this paper? I have seen some glossy paper which is only about 180gsm which is useless. To be decent, I think a minimum for quality pictures is 240gsm.

I am very interested to hear what you think of it.
Cheers,
Rob

Re: Kodak Ultra Photo paper A4 x 50 sheets, half price

I've used the kodak Ultima Ultra Glossy paper from PCW at the same price £14.99/50 sheets, 270g/m2 (half price) in the past and found it to be OK.

However, I don't think it's any better than the Kirkland Pro Glossy inkjet 255g/m2 (Costco own brand) at £12.50 for 125 sheets.

Maybe my printing is no good, but I'm happy.

Re: Kodak Ultra Photo paper A4 x 50 sheets, half price

Holy old thread batman!!!

I have used Kodak Ultra glossy in the past, I fell for the same offer and no matter what settings/corrections I applied on the prints, I just couldn't get a decent one out of my Canon printer with this paper.

Sometimes what might seem like a bargain really isn't

I now stick with Ilford or Canons own papers and get great results.
