Just a big thumbs up for NEC Solutions & Colour Vision in Germany.

Recently I purchased a Spectraview 2090 which developed a problem with the hood......the magnetic strip started to peel away from the monitor.

I contacted NEC UK who forwarded my email to Colour Vision in Germany who within two days sent me a new hood......Argh I need the magnetic strip ....again within a couple of days of an email a magnetic strip turned up

All was well for a few days but again the magnetic strip began to lift leaving the hood to become detached and unusable

Contacted NEC UK again who forwarded my complaint to Colour Vision in Germany.

They decided to send me a complete new monitor by courier and then send the courier back the next day to pick up the faulty one, giving me time to swap things over.

All this was done in a most pleasant and professional manner and at no time during the correspondence did I feel frustrated or annoyed.

So a big up to NEC Solutions and Colour Vision in Germany.

Thanks for posting P-E. There's so many brick-bats about these days it's good to give praise where it's due. Why don't they all do it it's the best form of advertising there is.

Just an update.

The new monitor hood fell off again ......this time I had to send several emails and a phone call to NEC UK.

The result was that they say 'that they are working on a new design hood' and will replace mine FOC as and when, I was also offered the choice of a full refund.

Decided to make do and wait for the new design hood (if there is going to be one).
