In reality I can't imagine it's going to be any good but though I would ask all the same!

Better than nothing, but it's unlikely to be stable enough for use with a long/heavy lens. Also the max height is 1.66m and I guess that's with the column extended, in which case it will be like a giraffe balancing on a beachball.

You can't complain at the price, but I'd look at the mid-range Velbon tripods for comparison.
