Re: Western Digital 1 TB Ext H/D - £139.99

Hello there. I thought you all might be interested to know that I purchased this exact same drive from PC World a few weeks ago. In store it was advertised at £149.99 but I waved my printout showing the web price of £138.31 and they matched it.

So far, I'm very pleased with it. It couldn't be simpler - just plug and play - and it's almost as fast as accessing the main hard drive itself. It comes preloaded with some trial software for backup utilities and stuff but I just use it as an external hard drive and have installed Allway Sync on the drive (free from Allway Sync: Free File Synchronization, Backup, Data Replication, PC Sync Software, Freeware, File Sync, Data Synchronization Software. I have now completely synchronised the most important documents and files for me (pretty much everything under My Documents and a few bits under Program Files). It's great peace of mind as my hard disk has been playing up lately and I think it's on the way to Hard Disk Heaven in the Sky.

Recommended.
