Steaming Out Of Corfe Castle To Swanage

I was out and about in the Purbecks earlier this week and managed to grab a few shots of the Swanage Railway.

Nice comp with the castle, loco and steam!

Not too sure about the selective colouring - but I'd definitely prefer it less saturated as that green and orange are pretty strong

I think I can, i think I can understand what you are doing with this photograph... Looks great to me other than the person hanging out of the engine.

I need to chu, chu over the selective colouring thing. Although, overall I really like the shot.

Regards
Dean .

What a great shot!

The orange is defo a bit too much.

I think the selective colouring works quite well, in principle ... My eye is naturally drawn to the castle, but then the selective colour brings it back to the train.

(Still mulling ...) Yep, if you desaturated the orange, I think that would do it for me

Thanks everyone for your input. Now I have lived wit the image for a while I have to agree to the comments on the saturation of the colouring.

I might have another go at this one and post again.

Cheers

Really nice. I like the orange but I would prefer red.
