Anything you'd like on here?

I just thought I'd ask if there is anything people would specifically like a photo tutorial on, particularly with regards to using Photoshop. I am more than happy to make a few more if people tell me what they want to know about. i don't want to spend ages making a tutorial and then find everyone already knew that! LOL.

Anyway, any ideas, please shout.

Cheers,
Rob

Re: Anything you'd like on here?

I would like a tutorial on how to mask areas off, such as around people etc. Showing perhaps a couple of different techniques and ways to correct mistakes as you go along ... i.e. if you mask a place that you didn’t want to and don’t want to start from the beginning again.

I know how to do this myself (well one very crude method) but careful masking is definitely one of the more advanced techniques that I think everyone would benefit from knowing the choices and sneaky tips...

Funnily enough, making selections was one of the things I had in mind so I'll work on that one as soon as I can Steve :o)

Re: Anything you'd like on here?

I'm not sure if there is one already, but i would like a fools guide to 'Curves'. They are something i try to use but i never retain that much control and i don't really know what i am doing with them and end up throwing the gamma right out, and i can't use them very well and i find them awkward to get to grips with and struggle no end with etc. etc. etc.

I should be ashamed as i used to get paid for using photoshop....at least i've admitted it.

Re: Anything you'd like on here?

Ok Lol, I'll see what I can do for you on Curves. It is definitely one a lot of people shy away from as they don't quite understand it but in fact is one of the best tools in PS. I'll work on that. This will be a few days so please don't hold your breath.... you'll turn very purple!

I am currently studying for a post-graduate diploma in linguistics and I have my final exam on Wednesday 6th december. After that I'll be as free as a bird and will get a lot more of this sort of thing done :o)

Cheers,
Rob

Re: Anything you'd like on here?

Ok, I can do that. There are lots of methods so will probably do two or three separate ones but give me the weekend and I'll get those done for you.

Cheers,
Rob
