How to remove Digital Haze
This is a fast, easy but important tutorial.
Its designed to remove the white film or fog like film in the Images, use this before you do anything to your image and you will notice the difference right away. I turned it into an action since I use it on all my images. In Photoshop Go to Filter/Sharpen/Unsharp Mask Just use the settings below Hope it helps. |

Re: Remove Film / Defog
Thanks sotelo.
It's perhaps worth mentioning that setting USM to a large radius like this acts as a form of local contrast enhancement. It's similar to the Clarify filter in PSP and makes the image 'pop' without increasing the overall contrast and losing shadow or highlight detail. It works with the unsharp mask filter in any image editor, and you can alter the intensity of the effect with the Radius and Amount sliders - but be careful about going below a radius of about 15 or you may get sharpening artifacts. |

Re: Remove Film / Defog
I think it should help with any sort of haze.
