Photoshop CS2 copyright action

Hi

I don't know how to link file for download but:

I have a photoshop CS2 © action I can send to anyone who wants it.

I also have a resize for web action which applies a touch of USM and saves EXIF data etc which works well before the © action

The name and opacity of the copyright action can be altered by opening a file of no more than 600 pixels on the longest side
  1. Place the action in the relevant library
  2. Open a sample web size picture
  3. load the action
  4. run it
  5. Double click on the make text layer
  6. Alter the text - name - size - font
  7. Double click the set current layer to alter opacity
  8. replay the action on the same open picture
  9. close the sample picture WITHOUT SAVING
  10. Now when you open a sample web picture and run the action it should have your name etc

Remeber to resave the action to store your new details/fonts etc

Thanks for that, Simon, very kind of you. I should, but I don't know how to link to a download either. Dave will know so if he's not along soon I'll give him a nudge.

Re: Photoshop CS2 copyright action

Unless the action uses a function or feature that is only available in CS2 and not CS, then yes it will work fine. The simple way to find out is to download and give it a try, if it doesn't work it won't break anything and will simply report the error of what is not working.

I also use CS2 so can't test it for you, sorry

Re: Photoshop CS2 copyright action

I think this is an excellent idea and want to thank them for the action files, very helpful.

Just a thought but I am sure loads of us have made various action files over the years that others might find useful. I make them regularly even for the simplest of things as it saves such a lot of time. I mean, even things like rotating a picture. I have one .atn called 'Right' and another called 'Left'. With just two clicks I select and run and my picture is rotated right or left. Now, I know how easy it is to click on the correct menu, select 'Rotate Canvas' and choose Rotate CW or CCW' but this is still simpler and quicker.

I wouldn't want to download loads of actions that i would rarely use but I am sure some people have got some very useful ones made that we might find helpful. Would it be possible to have a section to stick actions others might like so they can download them?

I know this might not be technically viable and may end up meaning poor old Steve and Dave have to receive and post them which is putting too much onto them so in that case forget I spoke.

Just an idea :o)

Cheers,
Rob
