removing exif

I`m wanting to put a pic in the monthly comp, but I`m unable to get rid of the exif data.I use a fuji s6500 and photoshop elements 5.
If this question has been asked before a link would be greatly appreciated

do u have to lose the exif data?

i use the save for web option on PS not sure if its on elements or not?

Re: removing exif

I`ve tried using the save for web option but the options window doesn`t come up. Maybe something wrong with the program, will give it another try.

Re: removing exif

Hi found a way to do it (save for web still doesn`t work) so what I have to do is save pic as a bmp file then save bmp as jpeg and exif data is gone

I was going to suggest the same thing, but I would use a tif file.
