Smart blur
Hiya all, just a quick tip for you all,
Under the filters-blur menu in Photoshop is an option called smart blur, when used on portraits or for getting nice smooth skin tones it is great. It keeps the sharp areas of the image sharp such as eyes etc and depending on the settings gives a lovely smooth texture to skin, I have found through trial and error that the settings that work best for me are a threshold of 24 and 1 pixel normal. Hope it's of use to someone. |

Re: Smart blur
You're just a Rep tart, aren't you?
Good tip tho'! ![]() (and, reluctantly, added to Rep!) Edit: "sadly", the powers that be say that I can't allocate more Rep to you! Who says there's no justice in the world?! LOL! |

That’s not actually true and makes us look like we are restricting Gary's possible rep points total. The software automatically prevents members from continuously giving rep points to the same member time and time again to prevent fixing of scores. You will be able to give Gary his well deserved points but you'll have to wait until you have also awarded other (deserving members) some rep points as well. Hope that clears up any misunderstanding |
