What ian? No clothes pegs? Hw do you manage?
![]() His presentation skils are not fantastic but he does drop a lot of very useful little tips in which are very handy. I have two left to watch but I've picked up some good ideas so far. Cheers, Rob |

Re: Studio Lighting Tutorial Videos
Hey Dave, no copying my ideas now
I have absolutely no idea how to cure that out of synch audio as it isn't out of synch on the one I have on my computer. But when i uploaded them, the synch went out, on not just one but three different ones.I think it might have something to do with the introduction screen and audio so I will try one that just goes straight on in and see if that works. I'll crack it eventually, he says hopefully ![]() Cheers, Rob |

Re: Studio Lighting Tutorial Videos
It's not out of sync here either...
But one way to fix it is to convert the audio to Wav file or any other format and overwrite it, I think you said you use Adobe Premier, I'm I correct Rob, Its easy to do that with Premier. I had that problem and fixed it that way, I used Vegas Pro 8, but if it can be fixed in Vegas I'm sure it can be fixed in Premier. |

Re: Studio Lighting Tutorial Videos
Thanks Sotelo, yes I do use Adobe Premiere. My problem is that when I look at it in Premiere or just as an avi file on my computer, it doesn't have a synching problem so I can't adjust the soundtrack as it already looks right.
I am interested that you said it isn't out of synch for you, I wonder if it is out of synch for some and not for others. Can I ask if anyone else sees it without an audio synch problem? I'd be interested to know and I'll then look into it further and maybe ask YouTube for their help as it might be a problem at their end. Thanks, Rob

Re: Studio Lighting Tutorial Videos
it doesn,t matter if its not out of synch for others, I had the exact same problem once, and did the overwriting the audio technique and the problem was solved.
why? I dont know all I know is that it worked. |

Re: Studio Lighting Tutorial Videos
The problem is, they ARE out of sync for others. They are not out of sync for me on my computer but they are out of sync when I play them on YouTube. I have just made a new one and put it on YouTube. This time I made sure not to use any music tracks or anything but the problem is still there.
It says that if you have a sync problem then you might be using an audio codec that doesn't compress at the speed they are set to but they don't say what the codecs are that they use. They just say 'We recommend using mp3. But the audio and video is rendered at the same time into the .wmv file so I can't save the audio file separately. It doesn't save the audio file separately though I know I can extract the audio using Audition and then convert that to mp3 but then it is no longer part of the video file. Sotelo, you mentioned a way you did it, could you just clarify that slightly please? I'll give it a go and see if I can sus it out. What do other people use as their main settings for saving videos for YouTube. Do you use .wmv or .avi? I did .wmv as this is smaller to encode and is recommended by YouTube. Frustrating the heck out of me this! Cheers, Rob |
