Stormont Assembly Building.

You may have already heard on the news that the Northern Ireland Assembly [ Parliament] is about to collapse tomorrow Monday after seven months and a new election called. I will not try to explain as it is so complicated, no one outside the province would understand. This is the Assembly building called Stormount.

Colin.

No.1 Stormount.

No.2. View from balcony above front door. Public are not allowed here, I managed to dodge the security to get this shot. Driveway is one mile long.

No.3. Front entrance Hall.

No.4. Hall Staircase.

No.4. Front of Main Building.

Excellent series on the Parliament building Colin. You certainly dodged the security well to get inside as well

Chrisa, The parts shown are open to public most times, just the balcony for some reason. I was caught, but all they can do is say you are not allowed out here please go back inside. And as I always do what I am told duly obliged and every one was happy. Just act stupid and say "I didn't know, sorry"
Colin.

PS. The Assembly has since collapsed and an election called for 2nd March. The new assembly when formed will probably also collapse and another election called, which will probably also fall. The lunatics are running the asylum so what else can be expected.

Re: Stormont Assembly Building.

Impressive structure - inside and out. As an aside, the "uninformed tourist" approach/response usually works.
