Canon A80 owner

I've owned a canon A80 for a couple of years now. Mostly I use it as a P&S, though have used in manual AE for some shots (creating panorama's). Rather than finding what everything does, I much prefer to see how shots are accomplished (e.g. long exposure for car light streaks, etc) and see how these are done to learn features.

I'm computer literate (plenty of experience using PShop, video tools etc), but really need to find out the camera side more, to get real effects rather than post produced ones.
