G'day, mates.
G'day, mates. I have just joined the forum and would like to introduce myself. I am from Sydney and I'm into photography, videography, and classical guitar. I have just started digitizing my slides using my old slide copier on my Pentax *ist DS. So far, I am very pleased with the results (first 50 slides the past two days). I tried my set up on negatives but no luck so far. I'm sure I need a better software than Photoshop (old version). Any suggestion? Thanks and best regards.

Hello and
 There are lots of different software you could use. If you are already familiar with Photoshop then Elements (currently at v6) is not too expensive and can do most things. I use that myself, along with Lightroom for workflow, but there are lots of other options and I'm sure some of the people who use those will be along to give you their opinions. |

Hello, Larne. I finally digitized some negatives using my old slide copier on my DSLR and Photoshop 5 (!). I am very pleased with the results. I wonder if Photoshop Elements will be much better. Thanks again and best regards. |
