Gday all just found this fantatstic web site and am very impressed at its layout, info and members, a credit to its creators and moderators.
Am relatively new to digital photography (two years) having purchased 300D, before that I was one of those one's fighting the onslaught of digital guarding and defending the shortcomings of my film camera, which is still a prized possesion.

I am looking at upgrading to a 5D by the end of the year and have enjoyed reading thoughts and comments about this camera.

My photographic expolits are purely amateur, however I just scored some work for a local newspaper to fill in a bit of time between my real job, and maybe pay for my obsessions and wishes.
