Hi everyone,and a special hello to sawdust
My name is Dave Home, i am from Burton upon Trent but have recently moved to south wales to be near the sea. A freind of mine put me onto pixalo as i am very into photography but still have limited equipment and knowledge, so i am hoping that i might pick up some tips on this site. My sister also does alot of competitions and has won many with her pics, so i want to try and beat her. My equipment is a canon 350d with standard 18-55 lense and i feel i have taken good pics with it, especially landscapes,sunsets, and macro. what i really want to do is wildlife so i am saving up for a super telephoto 400mm lense with image stabalizer f2 and a 2x converter, acording to my books this is a better way than buying a 600mm lense and you get two lenses for the price of one. my other hobby is archery and i am hoping to make some archery related calenders for my mates shop. anyway thats enough from me.

Thanks for the positive comment. at the moment all my pics are taken with standard 18-55mm lense, still try'in to get me head round the computor bits and still learning my camara.

talking of archery, thats given me some idea's for some more pics. ive seen your gallery, nice close up of the puffin. by the way, still cant remember how to send in pic without exif info on it!
