Hello from the Arctic
Hello, I am new to this forum and website and I thought i'd be friendly and leave a line to just say so ! I'm a bit new to photography, only started in December of 2007, though, I do know quite a bit because I've been reading and learning as much as possible. I have tried some printing of postcards to get my stuff out there and would like to dream of a career in professional photography.
I live in the Canadian Arctic and eager to meet other photographers of all over the world (not to mention up here since there's very few of us up here!) and share knowledge, not to mention learn more. If you look to my flickr gallery you can see some photos of the aurora or snow-cross shots (if you're curious to where I live looks like) located here: I do some freelance photojournalism and writing in my spare time (no formal training at current), but otherwise I'm always out and about window-shopping with the world, so to speak. My vision of taking photographs lies in the creative way that I can show other people what I see and think about in an easier way than "*point* Oi look over there at that isn't that lovely?" Here I was thinking I'd have a hard time filling out a short description of myself but I guess when I get uncorked I just don't stop flowing.
