Speaking of posting pictures to the members gallery, how exactly do i do such a thing?

If you mean the gallery on the front of the site, see this thread for details. From there to show pictures on the forum you just need to link to it in your post using the img tags to bracket the url of the picture you want to display.
So to show a picture from www.kimmett.com you would first click on the Img button at the top of the message body reply box insert your address url and then click once more on the Img box which will complete the coding for you.

If you don't want to use our free gallery and already have some webspace you can upload the picture to that and it will work fine also. Again you will need to put the link in your post on the forum and bracket it with the square brackets and the img tags.

This has been written very quickly before I had to go to work so may not be very clear, If you have not worked it out from my quick instructions and somebody else has not come to your rescue I will re-write this tonight in more detail.
