Hello everyone
I am a newcomer to the forum, I have not yet decided on my first dslr ( Nikon D80,Canon 400D or 350D) It seems a complicated decision to me. I stumbled on this site in my quest for dslr knowledge. I am 44 and not a very experienced photographer so I suppose I will gleen knowledge from, rather than add to, but Hello to you all anyway.

Thanks everyone for a warm welcome. I have already looked at some of the useful tutorials and gained some tips there. I also checked the post a photo for critique and thought most of them were excelent, well they put me to shame.
I have looked at the info on my specific options camera wise and opted for the canon 350d. I liked the sound of the Nikon d80 but when I saw it in the flesh it was a bit daunting for myself as I am moving from a digi 35mm compact. The price was also a factor in my decision. So once again thanks for the welcome, and when I pluck up the courage I will post one of my meagre offerings for your opinions and thoughts. I will post one soon. bbarny. |
