Hello From Georgia, USA
Hi Folks,
My name is Richard Dawson (for those that watch TV, I'm not that Richard Dawson.) and I have started learning what I can about photography. Been at it for about a year now and have learned a bunch. Mostly just how much I don't know.  I'm in my 40's and my second career, having done 14 years in the Army and then Information Systems for the past 12 or so. Photography will I hope be my third career when I have learned enough to be consistant. I figure it will take me a few more years to get to that point.  One of the greatest things I have learned is that there are always folks like those on Pixalo and other sites that are willing to share the knowledge and help out where they can. Even if it is just to say "That doesn't stink too badly."  Another great resource has been the local camera clubs. They're great for networking and picking up hands on tips. I'm looking forward to sharing in the fun here at Pixalo. Thanks for sharing. My kids all call me Papa. Richard Papa Dawson |
