Hi!
Hi,
I take it that most of you are not from the States. How nice. I'm new here and my name is not Linda LeeLinda. Linda is just fine with me, but in deference to my older brother I've started at age 52 to use Linda Lee for a part-time photo business. My married name is so long I can't legibly write it. Anyway, I generally use b/w, film and hand print in the darkroom. I'm trying to pull together a portfolio and could use advice with that project. Also since I really don't have a digital camera or a scanner, I've been having some rolls of film put on disk and then trying to upload them to my computer. Thought I'd start out with cheap or inexpensive software and it is very confusing to me. I hope to be able to upload some images soon and would appreciate your feedback. I took a look around your website and you guys are really pretty good. Take care, Linda Lee Gotta go feed my dog, Sophie.

Re: Hi!
Welcome to Pixalo, Linda
Great to have another mono enthusiast on board You should be able to get your images onto your computer with the software you have bundled with it. There will also probably be something that you can do some limited work on the images too. Break the processes down to small chunks, and you will soon be familier with everything. As you get to know stuff, it will drop into place and you will be able to see where and how you can make changes. Just ask if you need a hand. |
